DO YOU OWN YOUR AUDIO TOUR. |
Read the fine print! If you do not own your audio
tour content outright, then you have no control over
your future audio interpretive initiatives. At Tour-Mate
you own your audio tour content outright! |
ARE ALL COSTS ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE CONTRACT? |
Make sure that all costs in the contract are accounted
for. Are travel costs such as airline tickets, hotel,
car rental, food, etc. included with the fee, or are they
extra? Costs like these can add thousands of dollars to
your final invoice. All travel costs should be included
in the acquisition of your system. At Tour-Mate the price
we quote you for a system purchase or lease is all-inclusive. |
WHAT OTHER VENUES ARE USING THE AUDIO TOUR SYSTEM YOU
WISH TO ACQUIRE? |
Your potential supplier should have no problem providing
you with a list of existing clients. Call as many
as you can. A reference list is not enough. Those are
only the ones that have been hand picked. Ask for a
client list and contacts. |
HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT THE VENDOR’S SERVICE CLAIMS? |
Your Audio Tour System, like most electronic equipment,
will from time to time, require servicing. Ongoing
issues such as system upgrades, repairs, tour additions,
tour deletions, questions, etc… should be just
as important to you after your system has been installed,
as they were when you first signed on with your Audio Tour
provider. |
WHAT IS THE WARRANTY ON THE AUDIO TOUR SYSTEM? |
How all encompassing is the warranty. Tour-Mate
provides a full one year warranty on hand held systems
and a two year warranty on the EB 100 system. Our warranty
covers not only manufacturing defects but also normal
wear and tear. |
WHAT ARE MY HARDWARE ACQUISITION OPTIONS? |
At Tour-Mate you can purchase, rent, or lease your
system. Should you opt to lease a system from Tour-Mate
we can offer you either a term lease or a self liquidating
lease where your buy-out at the end of the lease would
be $1.00. If purchase, lease and/or rental are not the
route you wish to go, we can provide a quotation for
you to acquire a system on a 'revenue share' or 'per
visitor' basis.. |
CAN WE MAKE CHANGES TO THE TOUR OURSELVES? |
You should be able to do what you want with your tour.
You should not be dependent upon a third party to effect
changes to your content. Should you wish, you should
have the option to change your own tour segments in-house.
Acquiring the Tour-Mate ‘Edit Capability’ allows
Tour-Mate clients to edit, delete and add tours and tour
segments to their audio tour programs. |
