Management and employees of Tour-Mate Systems Canada Ltd are committed to protecting the environment and to continued improvement in our environmental performance. This commitment is reflected in our manufacturing, testing, distribution, repair and when required, ultimate disposal of equipment and components.

Tour-Mate equipment has been designed and manufactured to comply with two important environmental directives -- the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and the Directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). In combination with additional Directives from the EU and other geographic locales, they represent an important milestone in providing a safer environment for future generations.

Tour-Mate encourages reduction, reuse and recycling in all of its activities.  We ensure that our rechargeable battery units have a RBRC Seal and a recycle symbol, facilitating proper recycling and disposal of these units as per environmental standards. Clients and users of Tour-Mate products that are unable to properly dispose of or recycle their equipment locally can ship these products to Tour-Mate or its distributors and Tour-Mate will arrange for proper disposal.
